Fantastic alternative to the old way of picking up doggie nuggets
There are some things in life that you set out to do, those life goals like get a job, be successful, have a family, etc. I think it’s safe to say that nowhere near the top of that list, or middle for that matter, is “Review a pooper scooper on Amazon”. Yet, here I am finding myself doing just that very thing. How did I find myself here, well for years I have done the shovel, small garden spade method. Let me tell you with two 50+ Norwegian Elkhounds they can be poop factories – but it was what I used and never thought different. Then one day, after a particularly fragrant gift from one of my four legged friends I sought out a better way because my gag reflex just could not stomach it any longer. That, and the neighbor who came to my backyard to see what small animal was dying due to all the noise.I am not ashamed to say I researched pooper scoopers. I looked at all manner of them. From the open top rake method, to those fancy claw machine contraptions. I shouldn’t be surprised that there are so many pooper scooper options out there, but literally holy crap!I finally decided on this one for a couple reasons. The enclosed bin, with the bag is a great idea.Long enough where I don’t have to bend over at all (32 Inches)Easy to storeUpon receiving it, I quickly put it together loaded up the first bag and embarked on my maiden voyage into the dangerous backyard. Finding the first nugget I set the bin behind it and with a quick flip deposited said nugget safely into the bin/bag. No fuss, no mess, and no sounds of killing small animals. This wasn’t so bad after all. I zipped around the yard like a ninja, flipping turd after turd into the waiting bin. No longer was I trying to strategize the firmness of the deposit, or which way upwind was. I saw a landmine and tackled it with the ferocity of a jungle cat seeing it’s next meal (no I didn’t eat any turds, that was a metaphor). Finally, finding the bag full, did I mention 2 Elkhounds are a literal factory of fecal matter? I uncinched the bag straps, tied them together, and poof found myself with a full bag of poo but no mess and easy to dispose of. Arm & Hammer sells extra bags for this, or you can just use normal plastic shopping bags. The handles will be a little different and may cause some issues but it should work.Humor aside, this is a really nice pooper scooper. I would have liked to see the actual rake part a little more sturdy, but for the price I can’t complain all that much. It does make it extremely easy to pick up the mess, and dispose of it. I just wish I would have found this option sooner. No way am I going back to the “old” way.I highly recommend this product.

Easy to use
This product is very well made and does the trick. I use it everyday to pick up my dogs poop and it’s very easy to use and holds a lot. You can use the bags it comes with or you can use a regular plastic shopping bag you get from the grocery store. It has two areas on both sides where you can clip the bag on and it stays nice and secure while you are using it. The bag comes off nice and easy and then you just tie it up and throw the bag in the trash.

works well
The Arm & Hammer Pooper Scooper Swivel Bin & Rake is a pet owner’s unsung hero, making the less glamorous aspects of dog ownership a breeze. This simple yet effective tool has become an essential part of my routine for keeping outdoor spaces clean. The swivel bin design is a game-changer. It allows for easy collection and disposal of dog waste without the need for direct contact. The one-handed operation makes the cleanup process quick and efficient, and the bin’s capacity is sufficient for handling waste from multiple dogs. The rake complements the swivel bin perfectly. Its sturdy construction allows for effective scooping, and the spacing of the teeth ensures efficient waste pickup without leaving a mess behind. The combination of the swivel bin and rake makes the chore of scooping poop surprisingly hassle-free.The black color adds a touch of practicality to the design. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t show stains, maintaining a clean appearance even after repeated use. The durable materials used in construction also ensure that the scooper can withstand regular use without wearing out.Storage is a breeze thanks to the compact design. The swivel bin and rake easily snap together for convenient storage, making it a space-saving solution for pet owners with limited storage space. In summary, the Arm & Hammer Pooper Scooper Swivel Bin & Rake is a must-have for dog owners. It’s a reliable, easy-to-use tool that simplifies the often-dreaded task of cleaning up after our furry friends, keeping outdoor spaces fresh and tidy.

Not intended for humas (sorry I misspellled humans)
My dog poops a lot. I will not describe the consistency but overall it’s quite robust and compact. I got to the point where I needed to take action, the back yard was covered in his excrements. The item is very easy to assemble and works great. You just take the stick and brush the poop inside the container. I must be clear: this is not intended for human feces. This would be quite disturbing. I personally haven’t tried, but I guess it could work. But how will it work? If you have the answer please contact me

Buy it- it’s a no brainer
I bought this for my family and it’s a no brainer. My mom has two dogs (1large and 1small) and she was literally picking up dog poop with bags… I got her this and she felt like an idiot for ever doing it. Then we bought my sister one. My only complaint is that the rake broke in half pretty quick (still usable just shorter). But it still works so I haven’t replaced it!

wish it were bigger
If you have one small dog, then it is probably great. I have two standard poodles and bucket on this is not big enough to hold a week’s worth of waste. If I were to use the bags, I would be constantly replacing them. I will probably not use the bags and just empty into a lined bucket instead. The idea of handling the bucket to put bags on after it has been soiled grosses me out anyway.I found myself wishing the bucket had a longer handle, so I didn’t have to bend over. It would also be nice if the bottom of the bucket were longer than the top, so the rake could scoop into the bucket rather than hitting the top of it. I would prefer that over it being able to close to shut out odor. The rake head design is strong. It can dig waste out of the grass better than the rakes with flimsy, bent, metal tines. For the price, this is fine, but when it comes time to replace it, I will look for something bigger with a similar rake design.

Makes a dreaded task much easier.
I used to bend and gag when cleaning up after my 3 dogs. Not any more. This dust bin style pooper scooper works great. It uses regular plastic grocery bags on the bin and the plastic rake flips the poop into the bin perfectly when wet, like after a rain, or dry. I was skeptical how it would work after it has rained, since I clean up about once a week prior to cutting the lawn. I was pleasantly surprised. It did not make any difference the rake is well designed and works under any conditions. Try it, you will like it. Well worth the money. If it breaks I will buy another.

SUPER Scooper! A++
Works great! You can use grocery bags for Walmart etc. and they attach over the hook on the bottom of the pail. You can store the rake (bottom down!) into the pail and clip it to the pole with provided pole.I’m 6’’4 with a bad back and the pole is plenty long, you could omit the center section if you want it shorter. The pail rotate so it’s flat on the ground, and straight up to store the rake. VERY well thought out!! A++

Oh the relief!
I didn’t know that when adopting a puppy came along a poop factory. And to my surprise, for how small the thing is, the monstrosity it produces goes beyond my scientific knowledge of mass vs outcome. Now to get to the product’s review, I’m young and don’t have back issues, but started becoming lazy scooping every day and being in contact with the warmth, smell and discomfort of the process, and needed a hand. After receiving its witching 2 days in a small packaging, I feel like a duchess perched at the end of this rack, scooping it all in one bucket without even being exposed to my beloved animal’s worst end. It’s reliable, efficient and practical. The fact that the bucket and the rack attach one to another really makes it easy to store in a corner and stay in place. The rack is strong enough where it’ll scrap the dried -or softer poop. You might want to use a garbage bag for this last situation. But honestly it’s a game changer, it’s capacity can hold multiple excrements and even some leafs, so you’re not just scooping poop, you’re gardening! The only minus points would be-the height, I’m 5”6 so it’s not a problem in my case but for taller people it might get uncomfortable-couldn’t figure out how to place the bag without it slipping down (but again not a problem to me because I simply hose it off)- the plastic rack may be efficient but I could see it becoming dull overtime.Make your life easier and get it!

Small design flaw but durable
The scooper is durable but there is one issue with the design that I found. It is nice that there are clips to hold the bag on and open but when the bag is on the way they instructed the bin will not swivel down when lifting it like it should. It wasn’t bad enough for me to return the product but can be a bit annoying when poop rolls back out when lifting it off the ground. I have to lift it up and tap the back on the ground to get the stuff to the bottom of the bag. The build quality is better than others I have had. The plastic is thicker and when you screw the handles together they kind of “lock” in place. My old ones the handles would eventually come loose but this one stays nice and tight. I would purchase it again.

Very cheap and plastic but helps me keep a clean yard. I wish the bucket was a little larger. It’s exactly as described though.

Ok-Works for small dog
It works but if you have one or two small dogs, because the pick up scooper is smaller. Nice, just needed something bigger. Plastic is okay, not the most sturdy, but ok.

low expectations rewarded with a pretty sturdy rake and bucket. the longer handle is a plus, but i figured that. why buy a shorter handle so you have to bend over when you didnt want to bend over to begin with.

Handy Scupper tool to Limit Bending
Liked that I was able to do pooper scupper duty in my backyard with minimal bending. The rake took a little practice to master but worked well enough to get the job done. Helped me get the yard cleaned up after surgery limitations.

Can’t ask for more
I liked it so much I’ve bought this twice. Lightweight and easy to work with. Bucket holds plenty, rake handle snaps to bucket handle tightly but with ease. It’s plastic but fairly durable. Hooks on sides of bucket allow for small plastic bags usage meaning it stays clean and waste is easy to remove. I don’t use bags instead I hose my bucket out. Only problem so far is when dumping bucket… sometimes it’s a little tricky bc bucket wants to flop in ways I’m not intending but it’s manageable. I’d buy it a third time… Definitely recommend

Wish I would have bought sooner
Very happy with this order, I even ordered my mom one. Easy to put together and use. My toddler actually LIKES to help clean up after his pet now. My only and minor complaint is that if you try to flip it over to dump the poop rather than remove the bag it swings around, so i wish it “clicked” into place like a dust pan.

Easy to assemble and use
It’s very easy to set up. I don’t think this is good for bigger dogs since the bucket isn’t very big. That being said, i have 2 bowton terriers and it fit about 4 days worth in the bucket l, but they don’t leave very big piles. The poles for the rake and bucket aren’t very tall. I have to bend a little to use it but I’m also 6 ft tall. You can use standard grocery bags with the bucket with no issue. I love that there is a little clamp to hold the bags on.It does feel like the rake might break if you have to pull the droppings out of the grass but if it’s all loose it works perfectly fine. I also think you could use a broom stick instead of the supplied pole if you wanted to.

Higher capacity than it looks
It’s good for picking up a lot of dog poop—way more than you would think from looking at it. I have 6 big dogs with access to about 40% of my house and the whole (quarter acre) fenced back yard through a very large dog door. I treat them as well as possible and most things in the yard and house are set up with them in mind. So, lots of bushes but no flower beds. The whole quarter acre is K-9 turf made specially for dog parks. I have to pick up poop every day.I find this device to be pretty good –even for large amounts of poop. I have a wheeled cart that follows me around the yard with a bin on it and lined with a double plastic bag. I fill up this device about 3 times on a typical day, and dump it into the plastic-bag-lined bin on the cart. I throw away the big bag of poop twice a week. It’s really pretty easy, and this tool is a big part of it.My dogs were all adopted from shelters as 8-week old puppies. I’ve house broken them all myself and enjoy taking care of them. I can’t get a poop service to come here, as they are afraid of the big dogs.Strangers entering their territory can be treated pretty badly.

Works For Us
So, when I first got this, I was a bit concerned seeing it in pieces in the box because I’m used to fully assembled ones at the store but that makes sense for shipping it. I assembled it in less than 5 minutes and we haven’t had any issues with it falling apart. We’ve owned and used it for about 4 1/2 months now in our backyard and we’re pleased with it’s durability and ease of using it. Not much else to say. It does it’s job.

Does what is designed to do in a very effective way.
My only issue is that the “penny” colored clip used to hold the rake and bin together has broken. I would like to replace this clip if possible. For bags, I simply reuse plastic grocery bags from the supermarket. The handles on these bags slip over the hooks on the bottom of the bin. At least the plastic waste now serves for dog waste.

Makes my life easier
No one likes this dirty job but this cheap little thing makes my life a lot easier. I like the hooks for the plastic grocery bags to hook onto so that it stays in place. Then when the bag is full you can just unhook and tie it up. Less mess and the rake makes it easier too. No squishing like with a shovel or scoop. It is exactly what I said, cheap quality wise. But being cheap plastic does make it light weight. I think it will last awhile since I only use it a couple times a week. But if it only lasts a year, I’ve got my money’s worth. over all good buy.

Almost Perfect
So close to perfect. Super easy to put together and seems quite sturdy when assembled. The pieces all screw together easily. Mine came with a couple bags which will make it much easier to keep somewhat clean. My only complaint is that the bag tends to slide off easily. There should be one more hook on top to hold the bag secure. The side hooks work well though. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I love it!
This is easy to use but the bags that came with it wasn’t as easy to put on as it sounded like it would be especially for someone that have issues with their hands. But it is easy to use to clean up after your pet and it was reasonably priced. But I would suggest that you provide a complimentary roll of disposal bags with the rake/dustpan , and maybe make the bags just a bit bigger so that the fit is not so tight that it makes it hard to put them on the dustpan. I have issues with both of my hands ( carpal tunnel /trigger finger) and the 2 bags that come with it is difficult for me to put on. But over-all yes I would recommend this product .

Scoop the poop
Saw a neighbor had a poop pickup service.., thought that was silly, but I did like the tool they had to do it! This keeps you from bending down to pickup poop, and is much quicker. Works best on poop that’s sit for a day or two so it’s not “wet” ..gross.

Great but could be better.
Overall they do what they are made to do, scoop poop into bin. It’s easy to use and assemble (it comes with instructions, but really it’s not that hard to put together)My only complaint is that the bin handle and rake handle are really short. Like, it’s fine for my 3 year old, but my son who is 5 foot 2 has to stoop a little to use it.I’m not sure how long the plastic will last but so far so good.It comes with bags which is handy. But since I have a large bin outside for my kids to scoop our yard, I really don’t use them. Also, while I think they are a little too short for use in the backyard, I feel like they be a little awkward to take with you when you walk you dog.The Price was good so I bought 2 of them. I have no regrets since I’m not the one using them lol. And my kids haven’t complained.

It is really easy to assemble and works really well even in a little taller than normal grass. What is neat too, is that grocery store bags fit perfectly in the bucket part and even loop over the little holders. Great product.

Look no further, this is the one
As a dog owner for 50+ years, I have tried many tools for this job. This Arm & Hammer scooper is by far the best ever. Use it with or without bags – no problem; easy to empty without spillage, whether the receptacle you dump into is high or low. Easily adjustable height. The rake easily clips to the scoop handle so both pieces stay together. It doesn’t take much force to unite or separate the two pieces, yet they stay firmly together when attached. Lightweight with great balance, and the flat surfaces keep it upright when not in use. I keep mine behind the back door so it’s always handy.

Convenient and easy to use!
I love that this perfectly fits your average grocery store bag! So easy to use, even my younger kids can use this. Previously, I didn’t trust them to not make a big mess with the traditional clamp style pooper scoopers. We will never go back to those after this! If you have a weak stomach, this makes the chore much more manageable.

So much better than using a shovel
This scooper makes pet cleanup a breeze. It is made of high quality plastic that is easy to hose off to clean. The sections stay securely screwed together due to little locking teeth in each joint that keep it from unscrewing on its own. It has little hooks on the bucket to hold a plastic bag in that you can pull out and throw away when you’re finished. I’m rating 4 stars due to the fact that placing a bag into it and hooking the handles onto the hooks can be a bit tricky while trying to avoid touching the bucket.

By far my greatest amazon purchase
The best item I’ve ever bought on Amazon. It usually takes hours to clean up 2 weeks of yard poops. This is a game changer no gloves necessary, no bending over, no digging through the thick st Augustine to make sure not to leave any behind. I’m screaming from the roof tops about this rake and bucket. I couldn’t be happier unless it zoomed around picking it up for me.

Easy to use and last a looong time before breaking!
I just ordered a second because the handle on our existing one broke. I was surprised to see that I had ordered the first one on here 7 years ago! Decent Pooper Scooper
For the price this is a really good pooper scooper! It will work with regular grocery bags so I have never bought the bags for it. I wish the handles were a bit sturdier. They seem to pull apart almost right away and fail. A little super glue does seem to work.

I bought these poop scooper two years ago. It was the best purchase I ever done from Amazon.I pick up poop 💩every other day. It’s a lot of poop.
